Homework Contract
Practicing math on a daily basis is a MUST to understand and retain math concepts and ideas. We have several 7th Grade Math Standards to master this year and therefore you will be expected to keep up on both class work and homework.
Homework will be given EVERY Monday--Thursday night. You are expected to complete each assignment fully and SHOW YOUR WORK ON ALL PROBLEMS.
Your homework Agenda will be used daily in Math 7 as in your other classes. This Agenda must be brought to class daily for homework credit. Your Agenda must not have excessive writing, drawing, or folding. It must be kept in a neat, orderly fashion. If it becomes lost it is your responsibility to purchase another in the office.
When homework is complete, you will recieve a blue stamp in your agenda on that assignment. If your homework is not complete, you will receive a red stamp on that assignment and it is your reponsibility to make up any missing assignments before any deadlines.
Every Thursday night, Parents/Guardians must look at their child's Agenda and sign their name to show that they are aware of any missing or incomplete homework assignments. This is also an excellent time for Parents/Guardians to have students finish any missing assignments.
